Start the New Year on a positive note with poetry (Poe-tree) & Music on the Trail Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 1 p.m. at the Nature Center at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park. Enjoy an easy, reflective walk to include poetry and music: participants are encouraged to bring a favorite poem or two (tree or nature-inspired?) to share as well as an easy-to-carry musical instrument (like flute, recorders, hand-pan). Bohemian garb not required but heartily encouraged! .
